Auto-Layout and Auto-Flow are two features in Figma that allow you to prototype and design your interfaces faster. Auto-Flow automatically creates a chain of frames, making it easy to create multi-screen flows and web content such as buttons, menus, and galleries with a few clicks.

To use Auto-Flow in Figma, select the starting and the ending frame of the flow. Then, click on the "Auto-Flow" button located on the toolbar, or press Shift + A on your keyboard. A dialog will appear with various options that you can customize, such as the orientation, alignment, and spacing of the flow.

After customizing the options, click on "Create Flow" to generate the frames and connect them with lines. You can adjust the spacing and the shape of the lines by dragging them with your mouse. Auto-Flow also works with components and instances, allowing you to create reusable elements that automatically replicate and adjust themselves.

With Auto-Flow, you can design and iterate your interfaces faster, as you don't have to manually resize and rearrange frames. Auto-Flow is a time-saving solution that works for both low-fi sketches and hi-fi mockups, and it's particularly useful when designing complex navigation systems, social media posts, or product galleries.

However, keep in mind that Auto-Flow might not work optimally in all scenarios, especially if you have very specific design requirements or if you need to manually adjust the position and the size of your frames. It's always good to have a mix of manual and auto-generated solutions to fit your needs.
